QPS Nederland B.V. in Groningen is onderdeel van een wereldwijde organisatie die geneesmiddelenonderzoek uitvoert voor internationale farmaceutische en biotechnologische bedrijven. Voor onze afdeling Bioanalyse zijn wij op zoek naar een nieuwe collega voor de functie van Logistics Officer Bioanalysis NL.

Als Logistics Officer Bioanalysis ben je verantwoordelijk voor het verwerken en registreren van alle monsters en algemene materialen die naar QPS worden gestuurd, zodat wordt voldaan aan de regelgeving van de FDA en EMA, GxP's en de Standaard Operationele Procedures van QPS. Je werkt in onze laboratoriumomgeving en speelt een belangrijke rol in het beheren van de logistiek van monsters en materialen[Fv1] en faciliteert de communicatie tussen de wetenschappers en sponsoren.

Verder:

• Ontvang, inspecteer en registreer materialen in het LIMS-systeem;

• Je beheert zendingen en ophaalverzoeken, werkt samen met transportbedrijven en belanghebbenden;

• Je verzorgt de afvoer van materialen, beheert opslaglocaties en zorgt voor het onderhoud van faciliteiten, zoals het beheer van vriezers;

• Je werkt in een professionele laboratoriumomgeving, waar je blootgesteld kan worden aan gevaarlijke stoffen/chemicaliën of extreme kou (vriezers). Persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen worden verstrekt en zijn verplicht.

QPS Nederland B.V. in Groningen is part of a global organization that conducts drug research for international pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. For our Bioanalysis Department, we are looking for a new colleague for the role of Logistics Officer Bioanalysis NL.

As a Logistics Officer Bioanalysis, you will be responsible for handling and recording all samples and general materials sent to QPS to ensure compliance with FDA and EMA regulations, GxPs, and QPS Standard Operating Procedures. You will operate in our laboratory environment and play a vital role in managing the logistics of sample materials, facilitating communication between QPS’s scientific staff and its sponsors.

Additionally:

• You will receive, register, and inspect materials in the LIMS system

• You will manage shipments and pickups, working with shipping companies and stakeholders

• You will handle the disposal of materials, manage storage locations, and ensure facility operations, such as freezer maintenance

• You will work in a professional laboratory environment, where exposure to hazardous materials/chemicals, extreme cold (freezers), and conditions can occur. Personal protective equipment will be provided and required.

Wat breng je mee?

• Je hebt minimaal een MBO-4 opleiding bij voorkeur binnen een laboratoriumgerelateerd vakgebied of hebt ten minste relevante werkervaring op dit gebied. (Werkervaring is geen vereistte; QPS biedt on-the-job training op basis van jouw opleiding en ervaring.)

• Je hebt ervaring met Windows en bent vaardig met MS Office;

• Je pakt snel nieuwe systemen en QPS- specifieke applicaties op. Denk hierbij aan: LabVantage LIMS, OTRS/Znuny, Kanboard en NetSuite;

• Je kunt zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken;

• Je bent je bewust van veiligheid en werkt graag hier graag aan mee.

What do you bring?

• You have a minimum level of knowledge typically gained through an MBO4-level education in a laboratory-related field (e.g., Secondary Vocational Laboratory Education level 4), though this can also be acquired through a combination of education and relevant experience

• No additional relevant work experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided based on your education and experience

• Familiarity with Windows-based operating systems and proficiency in MS Office is essential

• Ability to learn and use QPS-specific applications such as LabVantage LIMS, OTRS/Znuny, Kanboard, and NetSuite

• You can work independently or as part of a team

• Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (provided and required by QPS). Our laboratory instruments/equipment used will include freezers, and hazardous items will include biological samples.
