Job description
Senior Staff Assistant Bioanalysis
Groningen, The Netherlands – QPS Netherlands
Part-time | Office-based
Closing Date: 01 April 2026
QPS Netherlands B.V., based in Groningen, is part of QPS Holdings LLC, a global, full-service contract research organization supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies from early discovery through clinical development. At our Groningen site, laboratory teams operate in a highly collaborative, regulated environment, delivering high-quality data for international studies.
As a Senior Staff Assistant, you will play a central role in keeping studies financially organized and the concerned databases aligned. You will work closely with Study Directors, Scientists, lab management and finance to ensure that the financial tracking, and issuance of invoices and change orders run smoothly. This is a role for someone who enjoys both structure and variety – combining documentation, coordination, and financial oversight. This is a fully office-based position in Groningen.
What you will do
Own financial tracking and alignment – maintain study budgets and databases, perform reconciliations, review performed vs. invoiced work, and approve invoices within scope while flagging discrepancies
Work within systems and ensure data integrity – support activities in LIMS and related systems, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and traceability of study records
Provide flexible operational support – act as a reliable point of coordination between the laboratory teams and finance
Job requirements
What you bring
HBO, MBO or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Experience with financial administration, budgeting, or invoicing processes
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with database systems such as LIMS and Access
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Clear and professional communication skills in both English and Dutch languages
Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., CRO, pharma, or laboratory setting) is preferred
Why QPS Groningen?

If you enjoy bringing structure to complex processes and working across both documentation and financial workflows, we’d be glad to hear from you.
This job has a closing date of 01 April 2026; prescreen calls will occur the week of 06 April and onsite interviews during the week of 13 April.
